Job Trade Mandatory on Maintenance Request Creation
Include the 'Job Trade' field when creating a maintenance request
Introduction
When manually creating maintenance requests, you can include job trade in the creation dialog. This feature ensures that a job trade must be selected before the maintenance request can be created. This helps improve the quality and consistency of maintenance request data.
Include Job Trade on the Maintenance Request Dialog
- To enable this functionality, go to System administration > Workspaces > Feature management.
- On the Feature management page (see screenshot 01), search for the feature Dynaway - Job trade mandatory on maintenance request creation dialog, and enable it.
- When the feature is enabled, the Job Trade field appears in the dialog when you manually create a maintenance request. You must select a job trade to proceed with the creation of the maintenance request.
- Note:
- Job Trade selection is mandatory only when creating maintenance requests manually.
- Automatic creation of maintenance requests is not affected by this feature.
