Introduction
Improvements to Inventory journals include:
- Initialize site and warehouse from maintenance worker.
- Initialize current user as worker.
- Item lookup with forecast.
Initialize Site and Warehouse From Maintenance Worker
You can set up a default site and warehouse for maintenance workers. If set up, the site and warehouse takes precedence over any other setup, when manually creating new item journal lines for a work order.
Initialize Current User as Worker
When inserting records, the worker field on inventory journals will be populated with the current user. This affects all inventory journal lines regardless of their origin.
Item Lookup with Forecast
You can conveniently select items directly from the current work order maintenance job forecast when conducting searches in the item lookup related to the 'Item Number' field in work order inventory journals.
Note, you need to enable the feature 'Dynaway - Item lookup with forecast in work order inventory journals' for this to be enabled.
