As a Maintenance manager, you can copy an existing maintenance sequence to quickly create a new version of the maintenance sequence with the same configuration. This feature helps in the creation of similar or updated maintenance sequences without manual re-entry of the entire sequence or with minimal edits to the original entry.
- To copy a maintenance sequence, go to Enterprise asset management > Setup > Preventive maintenance > Maintenance sequences.
- Select the maintenance sequence to which you would like to copy an existing sequence to, and from the top menu, click Copy sequence (see screenshot 01).
- In the Copy sequence dialog, from the Copy from field, select the sequence name from which the sequence needs to be copied to the selected sequence. The Copy to field will be auto-populated based on the selected sequence. You can change the value of Copy to if you would like to copy to another sequence instead of the selected sequence. Note that when you copy a maintenance sequence into an existing maintenance sequence, it will replace all existing sequence lines with those from the copied sequence.
- Click on the OK button (see screenshot 02).
- The maintenance sequence will be copied (see screenshot 03). The following data is copied from the original sequence:
- Lines
