Dimension value name from the asset is showing the asset description not asset no.
In the Asset Management Setup you can turn on the option to define the dimension value name based on the Asset Description.
When on - dimension name of dimension value created from the asset will be defined as the asset description. What is important - this option is turn off by default. Turning on is changing all existing asset dimension values and changing their names. When this option is on - every time when you are changing the asset description - it is also updating the name of related dimension value.
