Dimensions on the order item/resource lines
On the Plans, Orders, and Posted documents (Orders and Rounds) you can use dimensions (on resource and item lines) from the General Setup. Related fields are hidden by default and can be shown by personalization.
Posted consumption is registered with given data - in the Work Order Ledger Entries and related entries. When you are creating a Purchase Order directly from the Work Order Line - when selecting Consume on Receive - dimensions values are transferred to the purchase line. Consumption posted from the purchase order is not updating these values. However, the registered consumption is taken from what was set up on the related purchase order.
