In the Maintenance Employees table you can set up the Default Location for a specific user. Field is hidden by default.
From now when the user creates a work order item line - this location is applied to the line.
If the user created a one-off work order with a creator - the default location is applied to the work order document. Related field is added to theĀ Create Work Order* wizard - field is hidden by default.
This location is applied to the work order document and if the work order category has some default items - location will be applied to the item lines.
If the user calculates work orders on the Work Order Planning Worksheet* - this default location is also applied to the records. Related field is hidden by default.
If the user calculates work order directly from the work order plan card - default location of this user is +NOT APPLIED+ to created work order.
*if the user has no default location - location related to the asset location is applied. But with this functionality (if needed) warehouse location can be easily changed on the document that will be created.
