Plan Work Orders Based on Counter Trend Values
On the Counter Category you can set up that the category is triggering counter based frequencies based on the trend value. Thanks to that if for example, your work order plan frequency specifies that the work order should be triggered every 500 kilometers - and the current trend is predicting that this value will occurs on the specific date - when calculating the work order plans (from the planning worksheet for example) - this work order plan will suggest you the work order instance.
When the work order based on this frequency is created, and in the meantime (assuming that triggering value is still not registered - in our case 500 km) the trend changed - this update will be applied to the planning - dates of planning date for the work order might change. If the expected value registration will happen in the future that is outside the work order look ahead dates - then work order plan will suggest the work order cancellation.
IMPORTANT
- this functionality is checking only usage between work orders - it is no taking into consideration the OFFSET
- keep in mind that work order trend is predicted and rounded so there might be the chance that planned reading is in different date than suggested work order (on our example trend is showing that 500 km will happen on Aug 3 while the work order is suggested on Aug 4)
