Define and Use Extended Texts for Asset Management Elements

You can add Extended texts to the following:

• Asset Categories
• Asset Locations
• Assets
• Work Order Actions

The texts are copied to the document's comments created using one of the above setups. On the Extended Texts page, you can decide if the text should be copied to the relevant documents   The extended texts are copied to the following types of documents:

• Work Orders
• Work Order Quotes

Note: The Extended texts are added to the document based on today's date (when the document was created), not the planned date.
