You can now use the new Asset Operation Log to fully manage and track the operation of your assets shift by shift, all from one convenient interface.
With the Asset Operation Log page, you are able to:
Create log entries for the assets you are assigned to operate. You can create the list of the Asset Operators.
Select the appropriate shift from your shift setup.
Enter the start and end date/time for each operational session.
Set the operational status from a configurable list, with phases like Not Started, Prestart, In Operation, Postoperation, Finished.
Follow the built-in permission rules that control which status changes you are allowed to make.
You will be guided through required checklists, following the same structure you already know from Work Order Checklists. A Prestart Checklist must be completed before you start operating the asset, and a Finished Checklist may be required before you can close the log entry.
While logging asset operation, you can also:
Add your comments for better tracking of operational conditions.
Report maintenance requests directly from the same screen.
View existing defects and create new ones when necessary. Register counter values and measurements right inside the log window.
Every entry you create records in Asset Operational Log:
Your user ID.
Exact timestamps for every status change.
A full audit trail of all updates and submitted data.
You can easily filter and report Asset Operation Log entries by asset, shift, user, or status. Logs are accessible from the Asset Card, Asset List, and will also be available from the Asset Tree in the future.
With this feature, you gain better visibility and control over asset usage, ensure safety and compliance through enforced checklists, and simplify your daily work by having all operational logging in one place.
