Define Acceptable Answers on Form Fields
You can now define acceptable answers and validation rules for form fields in Form Templates, enhancing data quality and ensuring consistent responses across maintenance documentation. This feature allows you to set specific criteria that answers must meet before they can be submitted.
When configuring form questions, you can now specify:
- Minimum and maximum values for numeric fields
- Required answer formats for text fields
- Acceptable value ranges for measurement fields
- Validation rules that prevent invalid data entry
If a user enters an answer that doesn't meet the defined criteria, they'll see the info in Completed Forms. This ensures data consistency and reduces the need for manual review and correction of form submissions.
The validation rules are applied in real-time during form completion, improving the user experience while maintaining data integrity across your maintenance processes.
