Change work order lifecycle models on work order types
Introduction
With this functionality, you can change the work order lifecycle model on a selected work order type.
Change Lifecycle Model
To change the work order lifecycle model on a work order type, select the Change work order lifecycle model button in the 'Work order types' form which can be found in Asset management > Setup > Work orders > Work order types. See screenshot 01.
After selecting a new work order lifecycle model in the 'New work order lifecycle model' field and clicking the OK button, the lifecycle model on the selected work order type will be changed immediately.
Note:
- You need to be assigned to the 'Maintenance manager' role to be able to use the button 'Change work order lifecycle model'.
- The new work order lifecycle model needs to support the lifecycle states that are currently set on the related work orders.
