Security Role
Introduction
Dynaway Maintenance Requester is a license and security role you can assign to users who should only have access to create maintenance requests and view related maintenance information.
- Prerequisites
You have a Dynaway Maintenance Requester license.
License
The license code can be seen in System administration > Setup > License configuration in the tab 'License codes'. The user count denotes the number of enabled users which are related to the security role.
Security Role
You can assign users to the security role by looking up 'Dynaway maintenance requester' in System administration > Security > Assign users to roles.
When assigned to a user, the user can:
- View, create, and update maintenance requests.
- View assets.
- View work orders.
When assigning a user to the Dynaway maintenance requester role, you will be notified if there are five or less licenses available so you are aware of reaching the license limit. An error is shown if you have reached the limit of number of assignments permitted.
