Set up Mobile Users as Maintenance Requesters

In the form in Dynaway mobile > Setup > Users, you can set up mobile users as maintenance requesters in the mobile client as seen in screenshot 01.

Note: a mobile user is considered as a maintenance requester when both the 'Enabled' and 'Maintenance requester' parameters are checked on this user.

When setting up mobile users as maintenance requesters, you will be notified if there are five or less licenses available so you're aware of reaching the license limit. An error is shown if you have reached the number limit of permitted maintenance requesters.

Mobile users set up as maintenance requesters are allowed in the mobile client to:

• View, create, and update maintenance requests.
• View assets.
• View work orders.

Permissions for maintenance requester in the mobile client are specified in the module configuration form Dynaway mobile > Setup > Module configuration by configurations with 'Maintenance requester' scope.

Some of these configurations can be adjusted if necessary (e.g. configuration related to fields displayed in work order job card as seen in screenshot 02). Configurations which can be changed by users have the 'Editable' value checked. If a mobile user is set up as a maintenance requester, then the maintenance requester setup in the module configuration form takes precedence over other configuration scopes (User, User group, All, Default).
