Copy Maintenance Plan

As a Maintenance manager, you can copy an existing maintenance plan to quickly create a new version of the maintenance plan with the same configuration. This feature helps in the creation of similar or updated maintenance plans without manual re-entry of the entire plan or with minimal edits to the original entry.

1. To copy a maintenance plan, go to Asset management > Setup > Preventive maintenance > Maintenance plans.
2. From the list of maintenance plans, select the plan that you would like to replicate, and from the top menu, click Copy maintenance plan (see screenshot 01).
3. In the Copy maintenance plan dialog, enter a new maintenance plan ID and name, and click on the OK button (see screenshot 02).
4. The following data is copied from the original plan:
   • Lines
   • Assets
   • Asset types
   • Functional locations
   • Functional location types
