Set up Maintenance Log

In Maintenance Log setup, you can select which events (created, changed, deleted) to show in the Maintenance Log regarding different entity types, for example, Assets, Work Orders, and Work Order Plans. Use the Maintenance Log to get an overview of relevant information about, for instance, every change made on an Asset during its lifecycle and see who made them and when they were made. Logging information can help you avoid errors and validate and verify operations that are happening in your company.

  1. On your role center, search for and select Maintenance Log.
  2. In the Maintenance Log, select Open Setup in the ribbon.
  3. In the Maintenance Log setup list, select the Enabled check box for all the events you want to log.

View Maintenance Log on Claims

You can set up Claims to be shown in the Maintenance log. This means that changes made on Claims, which are used in Asset Warranty, are shown in the Maintenance Log.

  1. Press Alt+Q on your keyboard to open the search field and enter 'maint'.
  2. Select Maintenance Log to open the log.
