Introduction

The Asset Card in Dynaway EAM is the central page for viewing and managing all details of an asset. It provides access to identification, classification, hierarchy, location, attributes, warranties, maintenance, and integration features.

All Fields on the Asset Card

  • No.: Unique asset identifier (auto/manual). Specifies the primary code for the asset.
  • Description: Asset name/description. Specifies a clear, descriptive name for the asset.
  • Category Code: Asset classification. Specifies the category to which the asset belongs, driving inherited properties and templates.
  • Status Code: Current operational status. Select from predefined codes; status changes may trigger business events and notifications.
  • Condition Code: Condition assessment. Standardized scale for asset health and performance.
  • Active: Indicates if the asset is active. Automatically set from status.
  • Critical: Marks asset as business-critical. Used for prioritization in maintenance and reporting.
  • Type: Asset type (physical, virtual, tool, project). Designates the nature of the asset for specialized management.
  • Parent No.: Parent asset for hierarchy. Links the asset to a parent for hierarchy and inheritance.
  • Location Code: Main asset location. Specifies the physical or logical location of the asset.
  • Responsibility Center: Organizational owner. Assigns accountability for the asset.
  • GPS Coordinates: Latitude/longitude for physical location. Specifies the exact position of the asset.
  • Manufacturer, Model, Serial No.: Manufacturer details. Track origin and specifications for service and compliance.
  • Warranty No.: Linked warranty record. Specifies the warranty covering the asset, with expiration tracking.
  • Service Contract No.: Linked service agreement. Track vendor service contracts and maintenance schedules.
  • Virtual Asset: Indicates non-physical grouping. Used for logical asset structures.
  • Asset Attributes: Custom fields for specifications. Configure industry-specific information fields.
  • Transfer Status: In-transit or transferred. Track asset movement and relocation status.
  • Asset Area: Grouping by location/department. Organize assets for reporting and analysis.
  • Criticality: Priority indicator. Mark assets for priority handling in maintenance.
  • Counter Readings: Usage metrics. Record operating hours, cycles, or other usage-based triggers.
  • Measurements: Performance/condition data. Track temperature, pressure, vibration, and other health indicators.

  • Maintenance History: Displays a summary of recent and upcoming work orders, including status, type, and completion dates. Allows direct navigation to work order details.
  • Warranty Overview: Shows current warranty status, expiration dates, and coverage details. Provides quick access to warranty claims and renewal actions.
  • Defect Summary: Lists open and resolved defects for the asset, including defect codes, descriptions, priorities, and links to corrective work orders.
  • Downtime Events: Presents recent downtime records, including start/end times, reasons, and impact on operations. Enables navigation to downtime details and related work orders.
  • Operation Log: Displays recent operational events such as startups, shutdowns, inspections, and parameter changes. Supports audit and compliance by providing a full event history.
  • Fixed Asset Link: Shows financial asset details if the asset is linked to a Business Central fixed asset, including depreciation, value, and financial status.
  • Location Details: Provides address, GPS coordinates, and location hierarchy for the asset, supporting service, logistics, and reporting.
