Working with Failure Codes on the Mobile App

A question that may be relevant in your production department: "How often have our pumps failed due to cavitation during the last six months?".

Failure Codes allow you to specify different types of failures on equipment such as pumps, valves, bearings, vehicles, conveyor belts.

Failure Codes first specify the REASON something failed as observed by the technician, then the technician explain the PROBLEM (why it failed) and finally the ACTION (what the technician did about the failure).

Failure Codes allow you to get statistics for your equipment.
"How often has our pumps failed due to cavitation during the last year?", "How many times did this conveyor belt break down due to failing bearings?", etc

Failure Codes are easy to set up.
(Failure Codes are set up at two levels.)

You specify failure reasons, prolems and actions. Your technicians can now use these categories to describe observed failures.

Failure Codes can also be made Asset-specific so that technicians can only pick from a sub-set of failure codes when reporting an observed failure on, say, a pump.
