Create Maintenance Request from Manufacturing in Business Central.
Introduction
We enable the operator to create Maintenance Requests to communicate with Maintenance from the Manufacturing module.
Two ways Requests created in Dynaway Manufacturing can end up in Assets / Work Orders
Create Maintenance Requests
Maintenance Requests can be created directly from the Manufacturing Module. This allows a Manufacturing Operator to ask the maintenance team for assistance without leaving the Manufacturing module that he works with daily and knows well.
You can create maintenance requests from:
- Machine/Work Center card
- Production Order Routing
- Production Journal
The Create Maintenance Request action is only available for the records that are connected to the asset.
Be aware that the maintenance request might be created only by the user who has proper permission to do this. Read more about permissions prepared by Dynaway.
