Introduction

Dynaway contractor management is a dedicated module designed to help you manage external maintenance contractors efficiently. In many cases, work orders often involve maintenance jobs to be carried out by technicians who are not part of your organization. These contractors can be individual technicians from a supplier or service companies that specialize in maintaining the equipment your business relies on.

With Contractor management, you can:

  • View and track contractor activity: Get an overview of each contractor’s current and upcoming work.
  • Assign default contractors: Set up default contractors for work orders to simplify and speed up assignment during maintenance planning.

Pre-requisites

To access and perform roles in contractor management ensure that the following prerequisites are met:

  • Ensure that you have enabled the Dynaway Contractor Management configuration key in the License configuration form.
  • Ensure that you are assigned the required security role:
    • Contractor manager: Allows you to set up the functionality, or
    • Contractor clerk: Allows you to preview the setup.

Security Roles

  • Contractor clerk - Can view contractor data
  • Contractor manager - Can set up contractor data
