Workspace overview

In Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations > Data management workspace, you can import / export data as well as get an overview of target entities.

Target entities

In the Data management workspace, you can get an overview of target entities, related types and tables, as well as staging / target relations.

1. Click the blue Dynamics AX button in the upper-left corner of the screen > Data management > Data entities.
2. In the filter, insert "mro".
3. Select Target entity: "mro". A list of target entities related to Enterprise Asset Management is shown. Currently, entities for setup data are available.
4. Select a target entity and click the Modify target mapping button > Mapping visualization tab to see a graphic overview of how staging data and target data are related. In the figure "Data relation overview", an overview of functional location types and object types is shown.
