Introduction
With the Incidents module, you can create, organize, and overview all reported incidents.
As a user of the Incidents module, you can:
- Create and view incident
- View incident details
- Update incident lifecycle state
- Create and view incidents from the Work Execution app
- Create incidents lists
- Search for existing incidents
Note: Some of the functions mentioned above require certain module configurations. Keep on reading the sections below to get more information on how to work with the different functions.
Ensure that you have access to Safe work modules and Incidents.

Enable Safe work module access for users or user groups: To give yourself or another user or user group access to the Safe work module, go to Dynaway mobile > Setup > Module configuration. From the list of applications, select Safe work > Enabled, add the relevant user or user group, and set the parameter value to 'true'.

Enable incidents access within the Safe work module: To grant incidents access, navigate to Dynaway mobile > Setup > Module configuration, select Safe work > Incidents > Enabled, add the user or user group, and set the parameter value to 'true'.
Once you've completed these steps, you’ll have access to Incidents module.
- Enable access to create Incident: If you need to create an incident, go to Dynaway mobile > Setup > Module configuration > Safe work > Incidents > Incident create, add yourself or another user or user group, and set the parameter value to 'true'.
- Enable access to update incident details: Go to Dynaway mobile > Setup > Module configuration > Safe work > Incidents > Update details, add the user or user group, and set the parameter value to 'true' so you or others can update incident details.
- Enable access to update lifecycle state: To allow you or other users or user groups to update the incident lifecycle state, navigate to Dynaway mobile > Setup > Module configuration > Safe work > Incidents > Update lifecycle state, add the user or user group, and set the parameter value to 'true'.
- Enable access to manage incident lists: To allow yourself or other users or user groups to create and manage incident lists, go to Dynaway mobile > Setup > Module configuration > Dynaway mobile > Setup > Module configuration > General > Manage saved search lists, add the relevant user or user group, and set the parameter value to 'true'.
