Introduction

A permit to work (PTW) is a formal document that authorizes specific tasks that are considered hazardous or non-routine. It defines the scope of work, identifies potential risks, and specifies the safety precautions that must be followed before and during execution.

The Permits module allows organizations to manage safe work permits in a structured and controlled manner. Permits can be created, reviewed, updated, and tracked throughout their lifecycle to ensure compliance with safety requirements.

As a maintenance worker using the Permits module, you can:

• Create permits.
• View permit details.
• Update the permit lifecycle state.
• Update the permit owner.
• Update the permit validity period.
• View and complete form fields associated with permits.
• Create and view permits from the Work execution application.
• Create permit lists.
• Search for existing permits.
• View and download permit list analysis.
• View and download permit reports.
