The Handout Entries feature in the Tool Crib module provides a comprehensive overview of all tool handouts and returns, allowing you to track the full history and current status of tool usage in your organization. This user manual explains how to view, interpret, and work with handout entries and registered documents.
Navigate to Tools > Handout Entries to see a list of all handout entries, including both current and historical records.
On the list, you can check:
By different text formatting, you can easily check:
From the list, you can also check the Handout/Return Document by highlighting the record and selecting the Handout/Return Document button from the toolbar.
The Tools Included column shows if a tool was handed out with children. By selecting this value, a list opens with all children handed out with this parent.
Registered Tool Handout and Registered Tool Return are documents created when you register a handout or return.
The Handout Entries page provides a clear and detailed history of all tool handouts and returns, supporting accountability, tool tracking, and maintenance planning. Use the available filters, formatting, and document links to efficiently manage and review tool usage in your organization.
