Work permits are attached to work orders to ensure a safe work environment before starting work on a work order. Read the article below to see how to view permits on work orders in the mobile client.
On the Work Order details page, you can get an overview of all permits assigned to the work order. By going to Permits from the detail page, you will see an overview of permits and the state of each permit.
Set up permits to be visible by going to:
- Module configuration > Work execution > Work orders > Safe Work > Permits.
- Specify a user or user group and set the parameter value to 'true'.
- You will now see Permits on the work order details card.
Validation Check When Starting a Work Order
To ensure that work orders with unapproved permits can't be executed, you can set up users to only be able to change the lifecycle state if a permit is approved or valid within the from/to range.
- Go to Dynaway mobile > Module configuration > Work execution > Work orders > Safe work > Check for invalid permits when starting work order.
- Specify a user or a user group and set the parameter value to 'true'.
- Go to the lifecycle state you are using to define a work order in progess. In the General tab in the 'Set actual start' field, toggle the button to 'Yes'.
- Permits of work orders changed to this lifecycle state will now be checked for validation.
