Introduction
Updating Dynaway Mobile is similar to the methods used for Dynaway D365 deployment and Dynaway Mobile installation process into an existing environment, as described in other articles.
- Get the latest version of the Dynaway EAM solution and Mobile web app from LCS (screenshot #1)
- Apply or schedule the deployment of the Dynaway EAM packages suited for your Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations application version.
- Verify the license is up to date.
- Verify license configuration keys.
After the update process, carry out the following tasks:
- Ensure the Dynaway Mobility and EAM modules are updated.
Upload the files to the FTP server (screenshot #2).

Work Execution app files to /work directory on FTP
- Go to (screenshot #3):
- Mobility > Mobile parameters > change tracking > Click Enable/disable button to enable it
- Mobility > Setup > Handler setup open and verify if you need any handler logs. By default, all handlers should be disabled.
- Mobility > Setup > Entity setup, select all entities in the list and select the Enable button.
- Review Module configuration.
- Mobility > Setup > Module configuration > paste URLs from Azure app registration for /plan and /work (screenshot)
- Mobility > Setup > Module configuration > Scheduling Board > Enable
Add user (screenshot)
- Run entity initialization (Mobility > Periodic > Entity initialization) to ensure any changes to data entities for the Mobile Client are updated. The initialization process must run on the user interactive session (no batch job). When ended:
- Go to
Mobility > Mobile parameters > change tracking > verify the ended date. If the field stays empty, the process is ongoing.

Copy all files to /work and /plan FTP directory
