Use Functional Location Hierarchy on Maintenance Sequences
You can set up if functional locations added on maintenance sequences should also include sub-locations from the functional location hierarchy. This can be configured in the 'Enterprise asset management parameters' form by turning on the 'Use functional location hierarchy' parameter seen in screenshot 01.
You can see an example of a maintenance sequence with one functional location set up in screenshot 02. In screenshot 03 you can see that object schedule lines have been generated not only for one functional location added on maintenance sequence, but for the whole related functional location hierarchy.
